In this Army of Darkness comic, Ash winds up in outer space battling the evil dead and evil technology. This is basically what I expect from an Army of Darkness comic. Lots of bad guys, Ash surviving and cracking wise. It's all kind of nonsense, but it's basically fun nonsense. It drags a little in the start, but by the middle, it's... Really more of a 2.5 than a three as it was entertaining but not really inspired. A high (no pun intended) concept of pitching Ash into space and fighting some deadites in low gravity loses its allure a couple issues in and the thing plods along for another three installments. Should have been a quick get-in-and-get-out sort of adventure.... Yet another stale retread of all the stuff we liked from the movies. Only this time, it's set in SPAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACE! This gives Ash the opportunity to say stuff like, "Hail to the space king, baby!"Thanks, but no thanks.
